Mason/Rhynes Productions presents the Expressions Series: Hip Hop Festival!!! on Friday, February 19, and Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. at the new Takoma Park/Silver Spring Performing Arts Center. This seventh annual festival brings you the best in dance, music, and spoken word in this heart-pumping showcase of DC area hip hop.

The performance features the award winning Culture Shock DC, Urban Artistry, and D.C. based hip-hop music duo Fly Gypsy. With a video in rotation on MTVu and VH1 Soul, Fly Gypsy is quickly emerging as the hottest new name in hip-hop. Performances by Dimensions of Funk and their ultra-entertaining junior company, DCypher, Just Tap, and Tappening, plus DJ 2-Tone Jones spinning on the one’s & two’s make this the hottest event this season!
